Assignment Overview

Research images of existing installations of multiple objects. Collect images of exiting arrangements. Walk around the neighborhood and photograph locations that have multiples of the same objects.

Look at images of:

• grocery store aisles
• clothing stores
• car lots
• trash dumps
• flower beds
• apartment balconies
• skateboard shops

Think about what enhances the display of multiple objects. You can emphasize the multiple of play it down. Your decisions should be intentional Ideate and sketch ideas for any needed display structures such as shelves, hanging devices, support structures. Your installation research and design plan should be complete before the start of class. After completing your research spend 20 - 30 minutes sketching out installation ideas.
