10.01 Lamp Self Assessment

  1. Did you incorporate feedback from your previous self-assessment and peer review to complete the lamp? Does your lamp address those design or structural concerns?
  2. Did you use the ply parameter for all material thickness dimensions?
  3. Is every unique part of your lamp organized as an individual component?
  4. Did you encounter any issues when exporting your DXF or setting up the toolpaths in the Fab Studio? How did you resolve them?
  5. How does the 3D printed part interact with the laser-cut part? Are the connection points structurally sound, or do they need more reinforcement/bracing?
  6. If your 3D printed part failed or didn’t fit, what did that outcome teach you about the physical constraints of your design?
