Assignment Deliverables

  1. Fusion .f3d model file of one of the exercises
    • Label file YYYY-MM-DD Lastname Firstname Fusion Modeling Exercise (.f3d)
  2. Render Image of the model
    • Label file YYYY-MM-DD Lastname Firstname Fusion Render (.png, .jpg)

Assignment Overview

Fusion introduces new modeling concepts such as user parameters, sketch constraints, and the design timeline. To begin to understand and learn different parametric modeling techniques in Fusion, choose one of the Fusion modeling exercises below and complete it.

Process

  1. Select one of the Fusion modeling exercise below. There are exercises for models to be 3D printed, models to be laser cut and hybrid models.
  2. Follow the exercise and create your own model in Fusion based on the instructions.
  3. Export the .f3d Fusion file
  4. Add appearances (materials) to your model
  5. Switch to the render workspace
  6. Set the aspect ratio of the rener to 1:1 or 2:3 or 16:9 How to set the aspect ratio in Fusionexternal link
  7. Render the model and save the image
  8. Upload the files to Canvas
