Assignment Overview

Spend approximately 4.5 hours making meaningful progress on your kinetic bicycle sculpture project. Your work will depend on the direction of your individual project. You are not expected to complete the sculpture during this assignment. The goal is to maintain steady fabrication progress while applying the metalworking skills introduced in class

Mistakes, failed tests, and revisions can be meaningful project progress when they help you understand how the sculpture needs to develop.

Remember that the finished project must include movement. Do not wait until the end of the project to consider movement. Begin testing kinetic components as early as possible.
