15.00 Introduction

Overview

Each student presents their completed virtual production project to the class and discusses how image, performance, space, and sound work together to communicate the concept. The creator explains the intention behind their piece, details the group’s collaborative shooting process, highlights their own contributions, and describes the revisions that shaped the final video.

Peers reference specific timestamps from each video to provide constructive feedback on framing, pacing, continuity, audio design, and the seamless integration of physical and virtual elements. During the critique, students reflect on their crew communication, rotating studio responsibilities, and technical problem-solving alongside the aesthetic qualities of the finished work. Finally, each creator identifies what adjustments they would make in a future production and selects key documentation—such as behind-the-scenes records, setup diagrams, and reference stills—that clearly represents their complete process.
