14.00 Introduction
Overview
Students use feedback on the rough cut to guide the final virtual production shoot. They prioritize missing or unclear shots, matching actions, stronger performances, and any sound elements the edit still requires. Team members bring the current cut and pickup list directly to set so the entire crew understands the purpose of each new take.
After wrapping production, operators verify and back up the new recordings before editors assemble the final cut. The post-production team refines overall pacing, matches the visual appearance of adjacent shots, balances audio levels, and incorporates titles or credits where appropriate. Students export a viewing copy and review the complete file outside the editing software prior to the final critique. Finally, team members archive the project files and raw source media so they can revise the project later if needed.
