Overview
Begin by watching your individual rough cut with a classmate. Identify what a viewer can follow and where a shot, sound, or clearer action is missing. Use that feedback to decide what to record today. Continue essential shooting as needed, then reshoot or add details that will help the sequence.
Work together on production while each student develops their own edit. Aim to leave with the main footage for the complete sequence so the final shooting session can focus on a small number of final additions and finishing work. Simplify a scene when that will make the idea clearer and more achievable.
Use the reshoot plan during class.
