Arduino is an open-source electronics platform. Arduino boards have a number of input and output pins, which can be used to connect to sensors, motors, and other electronic devices. The Arduino can be programmed to read inputs from these devices and control the outputs based on the inputs.

What is a Breadboard?
A breadboard allow simple and quick electrical connections between the Arduino and electronic components like resistors and LEDs. It is used for prototyping since the connections are temporary unlike soldered connections. Breadboards usually have two power rails running down the sides and then two rows of 4 connected pins for laying out components.
